You will need your email address and password.


Follow these instructions to add your email to Outlook 2010 using SSL encryption:

  1. Start Microsoft Outlook.
  2. Go to File, choose Info from the sidebar, and click Add Account.
  3. Choose E-mail Account and click Next.
  4. Choose Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next.
  5. Choose Internet E-mail and click Next.
  6. Complete the following fields:
          Your Name: enter your name
          E-mail Address: enter your email address
          Account Type: choose POP3
          Incoming mail server: secure.emailsrvr.com
          Outgoing mail server: secure.emailsrvr.com
          Username: enter your email address
          Password: enter your password
  7. Click More Settings… to open up the More Settings dialog box.
  8. Click the Outgoing Server tab, and check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication, and verify that the Use same settings as my incoming server radio button is checked.
  9. Click the Advanced tab. Check This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL), and set the Incoming server (POP3) port to 995. For Outgoing server (SMTP), select SSL from the dropdown for Use the following type of encrypted connection, set the Outgoing server port to 465.
  10. Click OK to close the dialog box.
  11. Click Test Account Settings to verify everything is entered correctly, and then click Next.
